SPS Formally Announces Liz Broderick's Retirement Amid Ongoing Controversy

     Elizabeth “Liz” Broderick, Saugatuck Public School’s director of Business and Human Resource Services and Transportation Supervisor, has officially retired from the school district amid an ongoing controversy over many of her actions and decisions involving SPS contractors, her handling of state and federal funding, and other issues.

     The formal announcement of Broderick’s retirement was shared with SPS teachers and other staff in a letter from school officials.
