Dancing For The Arts Spectacular Promises Competitive Couples, Toe-Tapping Music & Great Fun This Saturday
It’s an all new Dancing for the Arts led by hosts Angelina and Rick Bauer and the 2015 Dancers who are ready to show us their smooth moves at the Saugatuck Cen ter for the Arts, Saturday, September 26.
Angelina and Rick Bauer won first place in the inaugural Dancing for the Arts competition and are now putting on their MC hats, plus dancing (but not in the competition). Returning stars for the event are Jim Sellman, Jim Petzing, Christina Lewis, Sara Harris, Angela Carrion, Dan Pannozzo, Tracey Myers and Teresa O’Brien.
Other soon to famous dancers are: Casey and Dave Loker, Tara and Kaleb Kortman, Anthony and Julie Grech, Betsy Webbert, Scott and Jen Kierzek, Sarah Goy, Sandy Collins, Matthew Fowler, Gordon Stannis, Scott Sarris and Ash Middleton.
Throughout the evening, people may ‘vote’ (with dollars or checks) for their favorite dancers. Following a 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. social hour of hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar, the competition will begin.
All the money raised goes for elementary and middle school art programs, elementary music programs, and more.
Tickets are $35 for regular seating and $45 for preferred seating. Ticket cost is tax deductable. Checks should be made out to: Douglas Elem. School/D.F.T.A.
Tickets are available at the Douglas Elementary School, Shoreline Realtors, or Saugatuck Public Schools’ Central office (next to the elementary school).
